December is
finally here, are you all ready for Christmas?
Ben has joined
our team of technicians. I have known Ben for over 10 years and
am very pleased to have him on board. Ben brings a wealth of experience
in IT support and also has cabling experience. Ben is currently
a registered open cabler and once he finalises his structured
cabling competencies, we will be able to offer the full range
of data and phone cabling services.
Chris has
also been doing some work experience with us and it looks like
he will also be joining us for 1 - 2 days per week in the new
year.
January is
next month and Windows 7, MS Office 2010 and Server 2008 is EOL
(end of life) on the 14/1/20. See our website
here for more details on what this entails and if you need
to upgrade your computers and / or servers let us know ASAP!
The SA Technology
Collective regular "Social Drinks" is on holidays until
next year.
I hope you,
your staff and family have a great Christmas and New Year. Instead
of sending out Christmas cards we have made a donation to The
People's Pantry. The donation is for their Christmas Day Lunch.
Sam is also making up some baskets of goods, so that The People's
Pantry can distribute them to people in need.
DP Computing
will be closing from midday on the 24/12/19 through to 6/1/20.
We will have technicians on call during this time for any emergencies.
I hope you
get some time off and I will catch you in the new year.
Regards
David Perkovic
