Hello *|FNAME|*,
The AFL grand final has just come and gone and as always there are the winners and the losers. Fortunately the losers can get back up and try again next year. When it comes to cyber security, the losers may not have the ability to get back up and try again.
Based on research from ZOHO, Australian SMBs have stated that 24% would not survive the financial impact of a privacy breach and 23.7% would not recover from the reputational hit. All business need to give themselves the best chance of survival by training their staff and using multiple levels of security. We offer a free dark web scan as well as a cyber security audit and end user security training so contact us for information before the worst happens.
This ties in nicely with October being Cyber Security Awareness month.
The theme for this year is 'be cyber wise – don’t compromise'. Please contact us for more information or visit the Australian Cyber Security Centre.
As mentioned last month, Microsoft have increased pricing for M365 so you will be seeing a price increase on your invoices for these accounts. If you have any questions about this, please contact me via email at david@dpcomputing.com.au.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me today for a quick (non-salesy) chat to find out whether my team and I can help you better secure your data and get more out of your existing technology
Cheers,
David Perkovic

Out
and About |
Here are some things we have been doing over the last month:
- Paul was out visiting two of our clients out on the Nullarbor Plains.
- Small businesses may not see a lot of actual servers these days as things have moved to the cloud. The cloud though, is just a large data centre and Fahim, Joel, Neil and Setu have been busy visiting some of the largest data centers across Sydney fixing a variety of servers from HPE and Dell.
- Fahim attended the Leader Expo in Sydney. There he learnt a lot about the latest in IT from companies such as Microsoft, Intel, Ubiquiti and WatchGuard.
Next month things aren't slowing down with:
- Stefan, Zee, Sean and Bevin doing some large network upgrades overnight.
- David and Stefan flying to Melbourne for the SMBiT Professionals National Conference.
- Neil will be working on a large storage system at one of the TPG / Vodafone Data Centers in Sydney.
- Setu will be visiting some data centers for clients in Macquarie Park in Sydney.
- Ben and Zee will be finishing off the last of a network upgrade for a client over 10 sites spread across Adelaide.
- All Adelaide staff will be attending the Leader Expo at the Adelaide Convention Centre to further learn and expand their knowledge of all things IT.

Paul was out on the Nullarbor Plains working at two of our clients sites - Border Village Roadhouse and Nullarbor Roadhouse. Here are some great shots he took with his drone.

Fahim attended the Leader Expo at the CommBank Stadium
in Sydney. There he learnt about the latest in tech from companies such as Microsoft, Ubiquiti, Intel, Watchguard and many more.
We look forward to attending the Adelaide expo in October!
